Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner

Brynn Marr Hospital is seeking a PRN Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide weekend call coverage at our 102-bed behavioral health hospital in Jacksonville, North Carolina . This flexible opportunity offers your choice of employed or independent contractor compensation, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality inpatient psychiatric care while working alongside an experienced, multidisciplinary behavioral health team.

• Employment Type: PRN (Weekend Call Coverage)

• Schedule / Hours: Weekend call coverage

• Call: Weekend inpatient call

• Patient Volume: Inpatient adult and child/adolescent units

• Location: Jacksonville, North Carolina

• Practice Setting: 102-bed psychiatric hospital and residential treatment center

• Support / Care Team: Collaborative multidisciplinary behavioral health team

• Provide inpatient psychiatric care for adult and child/adolescent patients.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of behavioral health conditions.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, therapists, and other members of the care team.

• Manage day-to-day clinical responsibilities during weekend call coverage.

• Document patient care

• Hourly compensation or reimbursement based on patient encounters

• Flexible contractor arrangement

• Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Assistant

• Active North Carolina license

• 2+ years Inpatient psychiatric experience

• Experience treating patients with substance use disorders is a plus

• Must meet all credentialing requirements of participating providers
