As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeFri02:45 PM - 11:00 PMSat02:45 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and others while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established facility protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, and report suspicious conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
