A well-known client of ours in the transportation industry is looking to hire a Business Development Representative in West Columbia, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional to build customer relationships and generate new business. Responsibilities Prospect and develop new business through calls, networking, and customer visits. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers. Prepare sales agreements, secure deposits, and complete all required documentation. Deliver product and explain warranty, maintenance, and service programs. Track sales activity and maintain accurate customer records. Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and ongoing professional development. Qualifications 3+ years of sales, customer service, or related experience. Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer opportunities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications. Valid driver's license required. Ability to obtain a CDL within 12 months of hire. Starting base salary $48,000 Commission: 20% on all new and used sales Guaranteed commission of $1000/month for first twelve months OR 20% on all sales, whichever is larger.
