Job Description
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule

Mid 3x12-Hour shifts (15:00 - 03:30). Travelers will be scheduled for weekends as needed.

Assignment Details

Contract length is a minimum of 10 weeks with guaranteed contracted hours of 36, 40, or 48 hours per week.

Requirements

• Active Nursing License in the state. A pending license is acceptable at submission.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications required (TNCC must be completed before submission).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required; 1.5 years may be reviewed. Level 1 Trauma experience preferred.
• Travel experience is strongly preferred. Travelers with 2+ years of Level 1 experience may be considered.
• No locals accepted within a 100-mile radius.
• COVID vaccine is optional; however, vaccination reporting is required.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration including IV medication via the seven medication rights.
• Document and communicate clinical findings.
• Care for admitted patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting.
• Potential floating to ED Holding, Trauma, and Adult PCUs based on staffing needs.

Compliance / Notes

Travelers must work 2 out of 3 holiday bundles: Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, New Year's Eve & New Year's Day. RTO restrictions apply, with greater than 7 days needing approval. Parking details will be provided.
