Full-Time Assistant Team Lead of Produce

Description Kimberton Whole Foods in Downingtown is looking for an Assistant Team Lead of Produce to join our strong and collaborative crew! Availability Full-time, 40 hours per week. One weekend shift is required weekly Schedule Tuesday - Saturday work week. Opening, closing, and midday shifts. Shifts are within a 6am-8:30pm timeframe Age Requirement Must be 18 years or older. Cultivate abundant, dynamic & quality displays Assist in ordering procedure to preserve a top-quality selection of organic and seasonal produce. Observe KWF inventory management practices. Maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the department. Work in collaboration with Produce Lead and Store Manager to maintain all elements of department performance Contribute to scheduled leadership meetings Sustain KWF Guidelines for staff appearance, energy, quality and cleanliness Participates in weekly Manager on duty assignments Performs other assigned duties Requirements Physical Capabilities Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers. Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products. Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas. Standing- prolonged standing. Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).
