Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Services Coordinator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Los Angeles, CA within the healthcare services industry. This role is ideal for a medical administrative professional with experience in patient scheduling, insurance authorizations, insurance verification, and EMR systems.

The Patient Services Coordinator will support multiple healthcare providers by helping patients move smoothly through the scheduling and authorization process. Key Responsibilities

- Schedule patient specialty appointments, follow-up visits, and related provider appointments.
- Submit insurance authorizations and complete authorization modifications as needed.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and update patient demographic information.
- Collect, organize, and maintain medical records and supporting documentation.
- Use an EMR system to manage patient information, scheduling details, and authorization updates.
- Provide administrative support to multiple providers while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and timely follow-through.

- Pay rate: $27 per hour.
