Press Brake Operator
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL 60007
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr
Shift: 1st
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate press brake and other fabrication equipment
- Follow work instructions from supervisors and production coordinators
- Perform daily machine maintenance before operation
- Set up and install proper bending dies
- Inspect parts after bending to ensure quality
- Read blueprints and use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Report damaged tools or equipment to supervisors
- Complete additional manufacturing duties as needed
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of press brake experience preferred
- Experience with Amada RG 50 and Cincinnati Press preferred
- Ability to read tape measures and convert fractions to decimals
- Ability to read blueprints
- Detail-oriented and dependable
- Team player with good communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs with assistance
- Safety Requirements:
- Steel toe shoes required
- Safety glasses required
- Ear plugs required
