Key Responsibilities

As an Urgent Care Physician Assistant, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Performing a variety of procedures and minor surgical interventions while working under the supervision of attending physicians to ensure effective patient care.
• Providing comprehensive patient education regarding medical conditions, treatment alternatives, and healthy lifestyle adaptations to empower patients in managing their health.
• Maintaining meticulous and up-to-date medical records, documenting all patient interactions, treatment regimens, and follow-up results.
• Conducting thorough assessments of patients, encompassing evaluations of medical history, physical examinations, and necessary diagnostic tests such as lab work.
• Collaboratively formulating and executing individualized treatment plans that align with the best practices and protocols, aimed at achieving optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution is required.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in New York.
• Demonstrated excellent communication and organizational skills to navigate patient and team interactions effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
