Work Environment

As part of our onsite Surgical Center, you will work within a dynamic team environment comprising five physicians and five nurse practitioners, creating a collaborative atmosphere that fosters professional growth and teamwork. Your standard work hours will be 40 hours a week, from Monday to Friday, concluding at 5:00 pm, ensuring a balanced work-life structure. The position is predominantly in-person, enabling direct interaction with patients and the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and review patients’ medical records.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood tests and imaging studies like X-rays.
• Diagnose a variety of acute and chronic health conditions, devising appropriate treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and patient schedules to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
• Promote community health initiatives and disease prevention by participating in outreach programs.
• Contribute to the professional development of the team by actively engaging in research and clinical discussions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• A current California State Physician Assistant license and PA-C certification.
• Valid DEA number to prescribe medications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of health and patient care regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a clinical environment, exhibiting strong technical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to relate well to patients, families, and staff.
• Commitment to continuing education and professional growth through active learning and engagement.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, displaying patience and a positive attitude.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in a primary care or surgical setting.
• Experience in specialties such as acute care, internal medicine, cardiology, or urgent care is highly valued.
• Bilingual abilities will be considered an advantage but are not required.

Compensation and Benefits

Trinity Health offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 to $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to the salary, we provide an extensive benefits package, including:
