Our client, a municipal government organization, is seeking an Executive Assistant to join their team. As an Executive Assistant, you will be part of the Administrative Support Department supporting the Manager's Office. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Executive Assistant

Location: Hollister, CA

Pay Range: $28.00- $32.00

Shift: 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform highly responsible office management and confidential administrative duties in support of the City Manager's and City Attorney's Offices and the City Council.
• Screen calls, visitors, and mail; respond to sensitive requests for information and assistance; resolve citizen concerns and complaints.
• Interpret city policies, procedures, laws, and regulations in response to inquiries and complaints; refer inquiries as appropriate.
• Assist in the administration of the City Manager's Office, including support for Redevelopment projects such as grant requests and funding applications.
• Coordinate travel arrangements, maintain appointment schedules, attend meetings, take dictation, and prepare reports and correspondence.

What's Needed?

• At least four years of increasingly responsible secretarial and clerical experience.
• Completion of the twelfth grade, supplemented by specialized training in office practices.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, certification as a Notary Public is desirable.
• Knowledge of modern office procedures, computer equipment, and software applications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
