Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans that encompass short-term and long-term goals for clients.

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP).

• Documentation is key: maintain accurate and timely records of service provision, treatment goals, and client progress in line with regulatory requirements.

• Engage in regular consultations and team meetings with interdisciplinary colleagues to share insights, refine treatment strategies, and enhance clinical practices.

• Participate in special projects or programs that address specific community mental health needs, adjusting service delivery to meet diverse client demands.

• Contribute to performance metrics by monitoring your caseload and ensuring you meet defined individual and departmental goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Westwood, you will serve a varied client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a multitude of mental health challenges. Your expertise will be critical in managing cases related to anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic health issues, and pain management, among others. Your role will be essential in providing clients with the tools they need to reclaim their lives and navigate their mental health journeys effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience in a clinical setting, with a strong foundation in counseling techniques.

Preferred Experience\n

• Certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is highly desirable.
