Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluation of clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique mental health needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, couple, and family therapy, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including medical providers, case managers, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, workshops, and seminars to stay informed on the latest advancements in mental health practices and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will focus on supporting diverse client populations, many of whom face socio-economic challenges that limit their access to mental health care. You will empower clients by helping them navigate their mental health concerns, which may include anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. You will also play a crucial role in developing community outreach initiatives to connect more individuals with the services they need.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related mental health field is required.

• Must hold an active and unrestricted LPCC license in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is necessary, demonstrating proficiency in providing therapeutic support.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards within the mental health profession.

• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience\n

• The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
