Administrative Assistant

Schneider is seeking an Administrative Assistant in Wilmer to act as the point of contact for truck drivers who are attending orientation. The Administrative Assistant will coordinate various onboarding processes, including scheduling physicals and drug testing. Responsibilities include ensuring drivers complete onboarding activities in a timely manner, answering training-related questions drivers have, tracking the completion of onboarding tasks, finding ways to improve current onboarding processes, working with third-party vendors, learning and upholding Department of Transportation regulations and laws regarding drug and alcohol screening, and assisting drivers with the completion of onboarding paperwork.

Skills and qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and strong problem-solving skills.
