We're looking for an experienced Controller (CPA preferred) who is ready to move beyond traditional accounting and become a strategic partner to our executive leadership team.

What You'll Do

Financial Leadership & Strategy

• Lead all accounting operations in accordance with GAAP.
• Partner with leadership to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Provide actionable financial analysis and performance insights that support business decisions.
• Monitor financial performance, trends, and key business metrics.

Accounting Operations

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and cash management functions.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Controls, Compliance & Risk Management

• Strengthen and maintain internal controls and financial processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Manage banking relationships, insurance programs, and external financial partnerships.
• Support audits and financial reviews as needed.

Process Improvement & Innovation

• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiencies through technology and automation.
• Collaborate with leaders across departments to enhance reporting, analytics, and operational performance.
• Help scale systems and processes to support continued growth.

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to firm leadership and department managers.

Growth Initiatives

• Participate in evaluating potential acquisitions and strategic growth opportunities.
• Support financial due diligence and post-acquisition integration efforts.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, financial analysis, and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel and Financial Systems experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and improve business processes.
