Insurance Defense Attorney

Job Details Salary: $125,000 - $180,000 per year Benefits Flexible billable hour goal PTO Medical Dental Vision 401K 401K match Responsibilities Provide legal counsel to clients and claim personnel on insurance matters. Handle a caseload involving general liability, professional liability, and related matters. Conduct thorough legal research to support client cases and stay updated with current laws and regulations. Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Represent clients in court, presenting evidence and arguments in a clear and compelling manner. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, aiming to resolve matters favorably and efficiently. Qualifications Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Must be an active member in good standing with the State Bar. 1+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a focus on general and professional liability. Strong skills in discovery, legal writing, and civil litigation. Proven ability to draft and prepare pleadings and motions.
