Key Responsibilities\n

As a licensed mental health therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a range of essential tasks aimed at supporting our clients' mental health journey. Specific duties will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate the severity and nuances of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients.

• Collaborating with clients to create tailored treatment plans that reflect their individual needs, goals, and preferences.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to foster recovery and well-being.

• Providing ongoing education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment plans, and effective self-care strategies.

• Tracking and documenting clients' progress throughout their treatment, making necessary adjustments to the plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Working collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and well-rounded care.

• Staying updated on the latest research in mood disorders and incorporating suitable findings into your therapeutic approaches.

• Maintaining precise and compliant documentation of all client sessions, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participating actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to refine clinical skills and stay informed about best practices.

• Advocating for clients to help reduce the stigma surrounding mood disorders and promoting their mental health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with clients experiencing mood disorders. This diverse population may include adults facing major depressive episodes, anxiety disorders, or the challenges associated with bipolar disorder. By understanding their unique experiences, you will play an instrumental role in their healing journey, employing tailored strategies that address their specific challenges and aspirations.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• A Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy or social work.
\n
• A clear understanding of California laws and ethical regulations governing counseling practices.
\n
• A current TB test (administered within the last six months).
\n
• Successful completion of a background check through the FBI and DOJ.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will also demonstrate:

• A minimum of three years of experience in clinical mental health counseling, particularly working with mood disorders.

• A background in navigating learning disabilities, behavioral problems, and social/emotional disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
