Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Sonography/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring a Travel OB/GYN Sonographer for a Perinatal Center, requiring 2+ years of hospital-based experience and ARDMS OB/GYN certification.

Job Details

• Perinatal Center within a hospital setting,
• Team includes 10 sonographers along with RNs, genetic counselors, registrars, and clinical leadership,
• Average patient ratio of 10-12 patients per sonographer per day,
• Utilizes E8, E10, and Expert 22 ultrasound equipment,
• EMR systems include Viewpoint and Expanse,
• Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM,
• 13-week assignment length,

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting,
• BLS certification required,
• ARDMS certification required,
• OB/GYN certification required,
• License required if applicable,
• Experience performing detailed fetal anatomy exams required,
• Experience with 1st trimester scans, BPP, Dopplers, detailed fetal anatomy, OB complete, and fetal echo procedures,
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration,
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months,

Additional Information

• Perform a range of OB/GYN sonography procedures including 1st trimester scans, biophysical profiles, Doppler studies, detailed fetal anatomy scans, OB complete exams, and fetal echocardiograms,
• Fetal echo experience and background in Maternal Fetal Medicine or OB/GYN office settings preferred,
• Ideal candidates are flexible, customer-focused, and strong team players,
• Navy blue scrubs required,
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted,
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri placements)
