Windsor, CO 31825 Great Western Dr Windsor, CO 80550, USA Description Operations Specialist | Windsor, CO | $17.00 - $20.00 / hour Monthly Bonus Program PTO Immediately Premium Free Employee Healthcare 401K with company match Essential Functions & Job Responsibilities: Ability to operate forklifts, man lifts, and overhead cranes in accordance with company procedure. Load and unload materials and finished products from trucks and rail cars, where applicable. Build wooden skids based on design specifications. Manage the movement of materials to and from designated areas. Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment. Report all accidents, incidents and unsafe acts or conditions immediately. Required Skills & Abilities: Able to read and comprehend work orders, directions, and safety and procedural manualsAbility to understand written and verbal communication in the English language. Ability to use and interpret tape measure. Ability to drive a forklift and operate an overhead crane (company will train and certify). Physical Demands & Work Environment: Carrying up to 50 pounds at waist level for a distance no greater than 5 feet on a semi-frequent basis. Must be able to bend, squat, and/or crouch down using knee and hip movement frequently. Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per day. Ability to push and pull weight of up to 30 pounds at chest level. Utilize manual dexterity of arms, elbows, wrists, and fingers. Ability to visually interpret multiple shades of colors as well as hear, speak, and interpret sounds. Work may be performed near moderate to continuous loud noise. Preferred High School or better in General Education.
