Bookkeeper (FT1462059PW) Middletown, Rhode Island Salary: USD 32 - USD 34 per hour Bookkeeper – Middletown, RI Our client, an established organization in the healthcare services space, is seeking a Bookkeeper to support core accounting and financial operations. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day financial processes, maintaining accurate records, and supporting reporting and compliance activities, while working closely with internal finance leadership. Responsibilities Process and record incoming payments and manage accounts payable activities Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy of financial data Prepare routine financial reports and assist with monthly close activities Support vendor administration and maintain related documentation Coordinate with external partners for audits and required reporting Assist with cash management activities and banking transactions Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient financial operations Qualifications 3+ years of experience working with a general ledger in QuickBooks or similar accounting software 2+ years of payroll processing experience using a third-party system (ADP preferred) Experience in a healthcare or related industry preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
