Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, considering the interplay between psychiatric and medical conditions that impact patients’ mental well-being.

• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and care planning activities to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies.

• Continuously update knowledge of current research, best practices, and advancements in integrated care and telehealth methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will serve a diverse population of patients, including those with complex mental health issues alongside chronic medical conditions such as autoimmune disorders and substance use disorders. Your ability to approach each individual’s case with empathy and a comprehensive understanding will be critical in guiding them towards recovery and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated experience working with individuals facing mental health challenges as well as co-occurring medical issues.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to fostering trust and rapport with patients.

• Cultivate professional boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools for assessments and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
