Job Description

In this role, you'll work at the intersection of data, technology, and business strategydesigning powerful BI solutions that uncover trends, highlight opportunities, and measure performance across our diverse portfolio of global brands. Your work will directly support revenue growth, operational efficiency, and franchisee success, helping us shape the future of our business through a truly data-driven approach.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Power BI Expertise: Design, develop, and maintain dynamic BI dashboards leveraging advanced DAX, data modeling, RLS, Power BI Apps and sophisticated algorithms to deliver insights for all UFG brands and departments.
• Data Integration & Python Analytics: Extract data via APIs, perform data transformation in Python using Jupyter Notebook, and integrate outputs into BI solutions.
• Financial & Operational Analysis: Analyze franchise revenue trends, optimize profitability, and measure franchisee success metrics.
• Business Partnership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure BI solutions align with strategic goals.
• Performance Optimization: Enhance data models and queries for maximum efficiency, scalability, and performance.
• Training & Support: Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on BI tools and data interpretation to foster a data-driven culture.
• Advanced Excel Reporting: Utilize Power Query, pivot tables, complex formulas, and automation to build dynamic financial models and dashboards.
• Modern Data Architecture: Own the data pipeline end to end design and manage SQL databases, use Git and GitHub for version control and disciplined promotion of changes across development and production environments, and build and schedule orchestrated data workflows using Apache Hop or Microsoft Fabric.
• Compliance & Reporting: Prepare comprehensive Item 19 Earnings Claims reports to support franchise disclosure compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B. A., B.B.A., or B.S.) or equivalent from four-year college or university; or Associate's degree (A. A. or A.S.) or equivalent from two-year college or Accounting and Finance school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience with Power BI, advanced DAX, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, including Pandas and NumPy.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis and operational metrics.
• Skilled in advanced Excel reporting and automation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
