Work Environment

This full-time position is based in our outpatient office located in Keansburg, NJ. You will work Monday through Friday, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive clinic environment that emphasizes teamwork and communication. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art treatment equipment designed to facilitate effective rehabilitation. You will have the opportunity to work closely with Physical Therapy Assistants while overseeing their specific tasks under your guidance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Developing and directing individualized physical therapy treatment plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes, which may include therapies aimed at enhancing muscle strength, restoring function, and managing pain.
• Evaluating patients' physical condition through diagnostic tests such as muscle, nerve, and joint assessments to determine the most effective therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborating with the Physical Therapy Assistants and ensuring the appropriate implementation of the care plan while delegating duties as permitted by law.
• Providing in-home therapy services as prescribed by referring physicians, ensuring continuity of care and accessibility for patients with mobility challenges.
• Administering therapeutic interventions such as manual exercises, traction, and modalities, while ensuring thorough documentation of treatment procedures and progress.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team conferences, case evaluations, and strategic discussions regarding the overarching treatment goals for patients.
• Conducting home evaluations to suggest modifications that promote greater patient independence, enhancing their home health environment.
• By maintaining meticulous clinical records (initial evaluations, care plans, progress notes), you will support the comprehensive management of each patient's treatment journey.
• Engaging actively in patient education, guiding families in care techniques and therapy equipment usage to foster a supportive home rehabilitation environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient population will primarily consist of individuals seeking rehabilitation for post-surgery recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and age-related mobility issues. Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a valid physical therapy license in good standing in New Jersey. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills, showcasing empathy and understanding to enhance the patient experience.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of relevant experience in outpatient physical therapy is required, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in diverse settings that involve direct patient care. Compensation and Benefits
