Manufacturing Engineer- 2nd Shift

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting manufacturing issues, improving production processes, optimizing equipment performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering fundamentals with excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills while working closely with cross-functional teams and manufacturing personnel. Key Responsibilities Lead complex manufacturing engineering assignments and take ownership of technical solutions. Analyze manufacturing challenges and develop innovative solutions to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Evaluate the impact of engineering changes on manufacturing systems, equipment, and production processes. Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions. Partner with engineers, technicians, and production teams to support validation, verification, and process improvements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using 5S , A3 Problem Solving , Standard Work , waste reduction, and operational excellence principles. Optimize manufacturing equipment and processes to improve efficiency and product quality. Maintain strong collaboration with production personnel while spending significant time supporting manufacturing floor activities. Support engineering documentation, process improvements, and manufacturing best practices. Contribute to achieving operational goals through technical expertise and proactive problem solving. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering , Electrical Engineering , Manufacturing Engineering , or another related engineering discipline. Experience in a manufacturing engineering or related engineering role. Strong analytical and technical problem-solving abilities. Experience supporting manufacturing operations or production environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Willingness to spend significant time on the manufacturing floor while following required personal protective equipment standards. Ability to work second shift. Preferred Qualifications Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments. Experience within regulated industries such as medical devices, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing , 5S , A3 Problem Solving , and continuous improvement methodologies. Internship or prior manufacturing engineering experience. Recent engineering graduates with strong technical fundamentals are encouraged to apply. Demonstrated leadership potential and a proactive learning mindset.
