Senior Retrieval Operations Analyst

This role is focused on optimizing retrieval operations, strengthening inventory health, and turning operational data into actionable business insights. You will serve as an Inventory Management lead for assigned Retrieval Groups, partnering across operations, client success, provider, product, and technology teams. The position combines advanced analysis, root cause investigation, performance management, and continuous process improvement. You will help leadership identify risks, prioritize inventory, improve project pacing and retrieval yield, and drive corrective actions through resolution. You will also provide operational guidance to Regional Operations Analysts and help ensure consistent execution across teams. Success requires strong analytical thinking, clear communication, organizational discipline, and the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority. This is a collaborative, data-driven environment where your work directly supports more efficient healthcare data retrieval and operational performance.

Accountabilities:

• Serve as the Inventory Management lead for assigned Retrieval Groups, proactively monitoring inventory health, project pacing, retrieval yield, and Business Control Metrics.
• Partner closely with Operations, Client Success, Provider, Product, and Technology teams to identify operational needs and coordinate effective solutions.
• Lead operational performance reviews by identifying inventory risks, conducting root cause analysis, developing recovery plans, and driving corrective actions through completion.
• Provide day-to-day operational guidance to Regional Operations Analysts, including coordinating priorities, delegating work, supporting ticket management, and promoting consistent execution.
• Develop and communicate operational insights through reporting, dashboards, and trend analysis to support leadership decisions, inventory prioritization, and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate cross-functional governance activities, including inventory reviews, escalation management, action tracking, and alignment between operational priorities and client needs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through playbooks, Business Control Metrics, operational triggers, reporting enhancements, and improvements to the Inventory Management Framework.
• Lead or contribute to strategic projects and broader organizational initiatives that improve operational effectiveness.
• Track issues through resolution, drive accountability across stakeholders, and help implement sustainable process improvements.
• Coach and mentor team members while fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 24 years of experience in operations analysis or a similar analytical/operational role.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or comparable technologies.
• Strong understanding of operational metrics, performance measurement, reporting, and trend analysis.
• Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, identify root causes, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to independently prioritize competing operational needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and persuasively to employees and stakeholders at different levels.
• Comfortable facilitating cross-functional discussions and influencing decisions without direct authority.
• Demonstrated ability to follow issues through resolution, drive accountability, and support organizational change.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams while also working independently in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Experience coaching or mentoring colleagues and supporting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Proactive approach to inventory management, with the ability to identify potential risks and opportunities before they become operational issues.
