Senior Administrative Assistant

Senior Administrative Assistant role providing advanced support to VP-level executives at AbbVie's Austin office. Manages calendars, travel arrangements, correspondence, events, and departmental operations while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with corporate procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to VP-level executives including calendar and travel coordination
- Monitor executive email, prioritize communications, and draft routine responses
- Coordinate new employee onboarding and office setup processes
- Manage departmental files and maintain compliance with corporate and legal guidelines
- Plan meetings and events, prepare presentations, and handle teleconference and web conference setup
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of administrative assistant experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior support experience at VP level or equivalent
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook proficiency
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Professional demeanor with ability to handle sensitive information discretely
