Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized intensive care nursing services to critically ill patients in a General Medical Surgical ICU. Deliver comprehensive patient care, monitor vital parameters, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions continuously and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following clinical protocols.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and clinical data.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to evaluate patient progress.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Respond rapidly to patient emergencies and stabilize as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current AHA BLS certification.
• Possess ACLS certification.
• Have at least 2 years of recent ICU experience.
• Preferably hold CCRN and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Cerner electronic health record system.
• Be able to work variable shifts within a 7AM-7:30PM schedule.
