Intercare Therapy Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This full-time position will allow you to provide individualized mental health support to stable, low-acuity adult clients. As a vital member of our counseling team, you will leverage your expertise to conduct virtual counseling sessions and develop customized treatment plans that foster client growth and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to address the specific needs of each client during virtual consultations.
• Provide compassionate and ethical mental health counseling through secured video chat appointments, following best practices in telehealth.
• Facilitate the development of new coping skills, problem-solving strategies, and communication techniques to positively impact client lives.
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure continued growth and improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with low-acuity adult clients who are in a stable phase of their mental health journey. These clients may present with a range of issues, including mild anxiety, depression, and adjustment challenges. By providing targeted, empathetic support, you will help them build essential skills to manage their mental health effectively.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Must possess a current, independent state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently without supervision, along with a clean disciplinary record.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a high level of computer literacy are essential for effective teletherapy.
• A stable and reliable Wi-Fi connection is necessary to ensure seamless virtual sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing virtual counseling services, specifically in an outpatient setting, is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices will be beneficial in tailoring treatment plans.
• Prior experience with different client demographics and an understanding of diverse backgrounds will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive annual salary range of USD 90,000 - 100,000, commensurate with experience and hours worked.
