Job Summary

School district is looking for a Paralegal / Legal Assistant to provide support to the district’s legal office. This position will assist with legal documents, records, research, scheduling, and day-to-day administrative tasks.

Pay: $27.03/hr.

Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize legal documents and correspondence
• Maintain legal files and confidential records
• Assist with legal research and gathering information
• Track deadlines, appointments, and important dates
• Review and proofread documents
• Assist with contracts, notices, subpoenas, and other legal paperwork
• Respond to emails and phone calls as needed
• Schedule meetings and maintain calendars
• Organize electronic and paper files
• Assist with records requests and document collection
• Provide general administrative support to the legal office
• Handle confidential information professionally
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous legal assistant, paralegal, or related office experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and other office software
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
