Senior Commercial Real Estate Credit Analyst

A well-established financial institution is seeking an experienced Senior Credit Analyst to support its Commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending platform. This individual will play a critical role in underwriting, structuring, and monitoring complex CRE transactions across multiple asset classes. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial real estate credit expertise, exceptional financial analysis skills, and experience presenting recommendations to Credit Committees Key Responsibilities Analyze and underwrite complex CRE transactions including Acquisitions Construction and development Lease-up transactions Stabilized assets Evaluate borrower and guarantor financial strength. Analyze property-level cash flow and performance metrics including: NOI, DSCR, Debt Yield, LTV Perform stress testing and sensitivity analysis. Review market studies, appraisals, rent comparables, and collateral valuations. Structure loan terms including: amortization, covenants, guarantees, reserves, and recourse provisions. Present recommendations to senior credit leadership and Credit Committees. Conduct annual reviews and ongoing portfolio monitoring. Support credit policy compliance and regulatory expectations. Mentor and assist junior credit analysts. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field. 5+ years of CRE credit underwriting experience. Experience across multiple CRE property types including multifamily, office, industrial, retail, and hospitality. Strong financial modeling and cash flow analysis capabilities. Experience reviewing tax returns, sponsor financial statements, and guarantor exposure. Experience preparing and defending credit approval packages. Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
