About the Role
As HR Manager, you will lead the full spectrum of HR functions at the plant level-overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This role calls for a proactive leader who can foster a culture of accountability, ensure adherence to labor laws (including union or shift-based environments), and partner with site leadership to drive employee engagement and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily HR operations across manufacturing shifts: recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, leave management, and performance processes The Ladders+13Indeed+13ZipRecruiter+13
- Act as the primary HR business partner to site leaders, guiding on HR policies, labor relations, conflict resolution, performance coaching, and employee investigations

- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and internal controls in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations Indeed+2Accur Services+2Zippia+2

- Partner with compensation & benefits and payroll teams to ensure accurate, timely execution and budget alignment
- Ensure audit readiness and compliance with labor laws, union agreements, and safety regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing, industrial, or plant environments-shift-based or union experience a strong plus ZipRecruiter+13Accur Services+13Zippia+13
- Demonstrated ability in employee relations, investigations, and performance management
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance regulations at federal, state, and local levels
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills, with credibility across all organizational levels

- Proven track record as a strategic partner and hands-on HR leader
