Tool Room Technician "A"/Machinist- 2nd Shift

Description 2nd Shift Hours: 1:00pm-9:00pm or 3:00pm-11:00pm (some schedule flexibility allowed) Responsibilities Setup and removal of molds in production equipment in order to perform necessary maintenance and PM activities Program and operate all tool room equipment Make alterations to existing molds, fixtures, and tooling in support of design changes Proficient in programming and operating CNC mills, surface grinders, and manual lathes Maintain a safe working environment in the tool room for others conducting work in the tool room Group Leader responsibilities as assigned Mold repairs/maintenance: Mold and die disassembly and reassembly to support changeovers or repairs Coordinate and track mold tool repairs through CMMS (eMaint) and participate in RCFA on damaged tools from production Continuous Improvement - Reduce cost: Train and mentor, surface problems, utilize PDCA to solve problems and drive improvements, 5S Education Journeyman Tool and Die maker, or 7 plus years experience in a tool and die or mold shop Knowledge and use of CNC controls Experience 2-4 years experience in machining operations/building fixtures Basic computer skills Experience/Exposure to Injection Molds is a plus Benefits Health, dental and vision insurance Short term disability 401k Profit sharing plan Vacation and sick time 11 paid holidays State of the art facility, air-conditioned Casual work environment And much more!
