Assistant Buyer
LHH Recruitment Solutions is helping our client hire an Assistant Buyer in the Portland area. This role will be 100% onsite in North Portland and will be a full-time, 3-month contract opportunity.
This role supports the purchasing function by coordinating with internal teams to gather necessary information, tracking and updating material deliveries, and communicating order status to stakeholders. It maintains accurate purchasing records, collaborates with accounting to reconcile invoices, and runs reports related to purchasing and inventory. Additionally, the position contributes to continuous improvement efforts by supporting enhancements to systems and processes.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years supply chain administrative/data entry experience
- Proficient working within Microsoft Office and ERP Systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially over the phone
