Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room, ensuring the sterile field is set up and ready for surgery
- Set up surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions to optimize the surgical process
- During procedures, pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon with precision
- Manage the sterile field and handle specimens with utmost care
- Conduct thorough counts of sponges and supplies to prevent any retained foreign objects
- Float to sterile processing or serve as a sitter on the inpatient floor as needed when OR volume is low

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience, with prior travel experience preferred
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) status, achieved through completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure
- On-call requirement: 4 on-call shifts per month
