Job Details We are looking for an experienced Compliance Engineer to become an integral part of our development team. The right candidate will assist in the design, testing, and certification of our electronic products, which will be expected to meet certain agency compliance criteria including UL, CE, and TUV. What you will be doing? Review BOMs, electrical schematics, and PCB layout, to ensure compatibility with agency requirements. Work with 3rd party agencies and outside labs to meet certification deadlines. Perform tests including temperature, HI Pot and EMC measurements. Provide reports as needed. Review regulatory documentation associated with products. What you need to have: Minimum 3-years work experience in design, testing, or compliance of industrial electronics. Minimum BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Previous experience with servo drive design, certification, and testing. Previous experience in meeting regulatory standards such as UL/IEC 61800-5-1, EN 61000-6, and IEC 61508. Experience with UL/IEC 60601 for Medical Devices. Electrical design experience. Understanding of electrical circuits and components behavior and their parasitic elements and interactions. Knowledge of design practices to suppress EMI and achieve high EMC across control and power spectrums. Option: Minimum AS degree in Engineering or related fields will require minimum 10-years related experience. Will be required to travel to outside labs for testing.
