Join Allied Universal at a dynamic utilities location as an unarmed driving patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, innovative team that puts people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and utility location policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify the appropriate contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and daily activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Support emergency response activities and assist with traffic, pedestrian, and restricted area control during outages, weather events, and/or other operational disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
