Take on a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Special Education Teacher for a fulfilling contract role in Lancaster, CA. This full-time assignment starts August 18 and extends for a minimum of eight weeks—perfect for educators eager to make an immediate impact. You’ll serve as an itinerant Resource Specialist Program (RSP) teacher to cover a medical leave, supporting a caseload of 28 students across two local school sites. Elementary and middle school-aged students will benefit from your expertise as you help them meet their individual learning needs.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Active California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist credential is required—no exceptions
- Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students in a special education setting
- Familiarity with itinerant or RSP models is highly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and case management skills
- Ability to adapt instruction and support diverse learning needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized academic support to students identified under RSP on two campuses
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver engaging instruction in alignment with each student’s goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
