Assembler

Position Overview Assembly Workers – Full time, first shift, Monday‑Friday 6:00 am‑2:30 pm. Location: Spartanburg, SC. Pay starts at $18.00 per hour. Weekly pay and health insurance from the first week of employment. Responsibilities Assemble machines within build schedules. Inspect for quality of assembly, reporting any problems to Lead/Manager. Drill holes as directed for parts joining. Grind finished product to remove any burrs or blemishes from machinery. Follow all safety rules and regulations. Understand the intricate parts of machinery. Use all types of hand tools. Understand blueprints and work instructions. Follow all directions during builds, taking mental notes to improve assembly skills. Maintain housekeeping standards. Essential Skills and Experience Knowledge of hand tools and their proper use. Ability to rig machinery safely and work in a team environment. High school diploma or equivalent recommended. One year or more experience in a mechanical position utilizing hand tools and drawings/blueprints, with a mechanical background preferred.
