Territory Sales Representative - Heavy-Duty Vehicle Service Equipment - Base Salary to 70k/year - Charlotte, NC Our client, an established provider of heavy-duty vehicle service equipment, is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to work remotely and grow a North Carolina territory. This role is responsible for developing new business and managing existing customer relationships while selling heavy-duty vehicle lifts, lubrication systems, air compressors, wheel-service equipment, vehicle-wash systems, shop equipment, fleet maintenance equipment, and related service equipment. Customers include municipalities, transit agencies, school systems, government fleets, commercial fleets, dealerships, repair facilities, fleet maintenance operations, and private fleet operators. The position manages the complete sales cycle from prospecting through installation coordination and ongoing account management. Responsibilities: Develop and manage customer relationships throughout the assigned North Carolina territory. Prospect for new business through cold calling, referrals, networking, territory development, and outbound sales activities. Sell heavy-duty vehicle lifts, lubrication systems, air compressors, wheel-service equipment, vehicle-wash systems, shop equipment, fleet maintenance equipment, and related products. Call on municipalities, transit agencies, school systems, government fleets, commercial fleets, dealerships, repair facilities, fleet maintenance shops, and private fleet operators. Perform site visits to evaluate maintenance facilities, equipment layouts, shop configurations, and customer operational requirements. Prepare quotations, proposals, bids, and responses to public bid opportunities. Present equipment solutions, product demonstrations, and technical sales presentations. Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, order closing, installation coordination, commissioning, and post-sale account management. Coordinate project schedules with internal project management, installation, and service teams. Maintain CRM records including customer activity, opportunities, forecasts, quotations, and sales pipeline. Develop relationships with equipment manufacturers, contractors, installers, and project partners. Travel throughout the assigned territory, including overnight travel approximately 4–5 days per month. Qualifications: 2+ years of equipment sales, industrial sales, technical sales, capital equipment sales, fleet equipment sales, automotive equipment sales, heavy equipment sales, commercial equipment sales, or related B2B outside sales experience. Experience selling technical products or industrial equipment. Experience managing long sales cycles from prospecting through closing. Experience preparing quotations, proposals, bids, and responding to bid opportunities. Ability to review technical product specifications, maintenance facility layouts, and equipment integration requirements. Experience using CRM software to manage customer accounts, opportunities, forecasts, and sales activities. Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory, including overnight travel approximately 4-5 days per month.
