Assistant Software Asset ManagerIron Bow Technologies is currently looking for an Assistant Software Asset Manager to support Prince William County (PWC) Department of Information Technology (DoIT) centers. In this role you will be reporting to the current Software Asset Manager and would be responsible for Software Inventory Management, Vendor Management, User Access Management, Compliance, Auditing and process improvement.How You'll Make An ImpactMaintain software inventory records asset databasesProcess software requests and user accessEnsure compliance with policy, software purchasing, and lifecycle of the softwareTrack software licenses and renewalsPerform audits on software to ensure compliance, improve security, and improve usageCoordinate with software vendors on orders and maintenance.Access portals and SSO groups to manage users for each softwareLook for ways to automate and improve processesOther duties assignedSkills That Drive SuccessHigh School Diploma and 2-5 years' experience in Software Asset ManagementKnowledge of ServiceNowMS Excel Formula Function & Pivot Table Reporting,Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust ClearanceKnowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Software Asset Management field.Accountable, on-time, and able to work independentlyClean record to pass PWC Commercial and Police background checkWhat Sets You ApartFresh ideas to assist Software Asset Manager in helping make the program more robust and sustainableExperience in IT within State, local or Federal governmentAssociates degree in IT TechnologyLive within Prince William CountyTravel RequirementsPosition is hybrid with requirements to be onsite and remote each week. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, contract requirements, and business needs.Iron Bow Technologies reserves the right to fill this role at a different level, depending on qualifications and organizational priorities. This range represents only one component of Iron Bow's total compensation package.
