For me, that's a big breath of fresh air."- Sunrise LeaderAt Sunrise, our Dietary Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and direct services for the Skilled Nursing Center's dining operations. The Dietary Supervisor is a hands-on leader in day to day operations directly supervising and assisting the Skilled Nursing Center's dietary services team.RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONSResponsibilities:Maintains resident focus business decorum at all timesOversees the dining room flow, tray delivery service flowBalances the serving responsibilities among the dietary staffHandling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food serviceQualifications:High School diploma required or GED required; Associates degree preferredOne (1) year experience in skilled nursing dining and/or long term care, assisted living or hospital diningSupervisory/management experience preferred which may include supervising and responsibility of shift/daily operationsMaintains current Food Services Sanitation certificateAbility to handle multiple prioritiesPossess written and verbal skills for effective communicationAbility to read and follow instructions to meet the dietary needs of the residentsCompetent in organizational, time management skillsDemonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skillsProficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applicationsSunrise considers the health and safety of its residents, family members, and team members as its highest priorities.
