Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit. The ICU RN is responsible for continuous patient assessment, advanced monitoring, medication administration, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients.
• Administer IV medications, blood products, and vasoactive drips.
• Monitor ventilators, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic status.
• Perform rapid assessments and respond to emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• Active RN License
• Current BLS Certification (AHA)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Acute Care Hospital experience required
• Strong critical care and ventilator management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CCRN Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• Previous Travel Nursing experience
• EPIC or Cerner EMR experience
