The Payroll & Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting payroll processing, employee onboarding, HR administration, personnel records, benefits, employee relations, HRIS accuracy, and regulatory compliance . What You’ll Do Process accurate and timely payroll for facility employees. Review timecards, identify discrepancies, and work with managers and employees to resolve payroll issues. Audit payroll reports and maintain accurate payroll records. Ensure payroll practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations . Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and employment paperwork . Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files and HR documentation. Assist with benefits administration , employee leave, and related documentation. Serve as a resource for employees regarding payroll, benefits, policies, and HR-related questions . Support employee engagement, retention, recognition, and workplace culture initiatives. Assist with employee relations and conflict resolution , handling concerns professionally and confidentially. Partner with department managers and leadership to address employee concerns and support staffing needs. Maintain accurate information within the HRIS and payroll systems . Assist with HR reporting, audits, surveys, and regulatory documentation. Support compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws and regulations. Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and employee development initiatives. Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee information. Perform additional HR, payroll, and administrative duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, long-term care, or a related environment preferred. Minimum 1 year of payroll and/or human resources experience .
