Transition Specialist Advisor

NTT Data Services Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Transition Project Managers with experience in End User Services to join our IT Transition team. This position will primarily support Desktop Engineering but may also include assignments in support of other EUS towers, Service Desk or Field Services. Candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time. ResponsibilitiesThe EUS Transition Tower Lead is the subject matter expert responsible for all activities required to transition End User Services operations to NTT Data for external customers. Duties include:Prepares PowerPoint presentations and delivers during Project Planning and Project Initiation Workshops to the customer and other towers.Revises project plans, completes activities, and manages the continuous follow up to meet scheduled milestones.Gathers and documents discovery information from customer using presentations, interviews, and conference calls. Analyzes discovery information and develops gap analysis and pareto charts to identify/track/close risks, issue, and assumptions.Reviews SLAs and contracted obligations from the contract and cost model to identify gaps.Creates Visio diagrams of the tower/business unit process flows.Writes hand-off documents which may include: Standard Operating procedures, Service Matrix, and Operations Manuals.Documents and conducts User Acceptance testing prior to AOS.Works closely with Service Management and prepares ITSM workbook for tower.Conducts weekly meetings with business unit and transition stakeholders and support partners.Recommends and drives the analysis and solutions of problems.Monitors and controls work to ensure that the project remains on track and in control.Interfaces and communicate with project team and management.Communicates with the Transition team and customer contacts on project status and RAID updates.Escalates unresolved RAID items to senior and executive leadershipQualification:10+ years of relevant experience or combination of work experience and education.3+ years of project management experience.Knowledge of Service Desk, Field Services, Desktop Engineering or similar business practices, policies and procedures.Knowledge of project management practices, PMP or PM3 Certification preferred.Expertise with MS Project and MS Office suite (Excel macros and pivot tables)Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).Strong team working skills across client, supplier and geographically dispersed virtual teamsConflict management experienceKnowledge of SCCM and KACE. Including experience/knowledge in application packaging, image management, and software deployment/distribution tools including - AD\GPMC, MDT, DeployStudio, App-V, 1E Shopping, 1E nomad, Dell Client Command, Flexara AdminStudio, SQLPrior Desktop Engineering, Asset Management, Packaging experience is a plus.Demonstrates basic understanding of current scripting technologies and batch commands; windows server administration to include AD, domains, policies etc.; configuration management principles and best practices; inventory management, software distribution, and image and patch management using SCCM; SCCM infrastructurePosting Date:Department:TTM ICS Compute - 1474050021
