We are currently seeking a System Admin Sr. Specialist Advisor to join our team in the US.This role requires someone at a senior level of mainframe DB2 support. The individual will work closely with the mainframe accounts, our partner, and customers.What you'll be doingKey Responsibilities:Perform technical reviews of proposed changes to the NTT environmentProvide technical expertise during high severity incidentsReview Technical Support incidents on a regular basis for completeness and preventionProvide thought leadership as it relates to in-house suggested improvements, as well as reviewing our 3rd party’s recommendationsParticipate in all Mainframe related projects (upgrades, migrations, etc.)Provide technical support to the NTT Security Team.Maintain BCDR documentation for the Mainframe platformsKnowledge and Attributes:Advanced problem determination skillsMainframe processor and storage hardware knowledgeMainframe disaster recovery expertiseMainframe data backup/replication skillsKnowledgeable TCP/IP architecture and communications hardwareSMS pool setup and management experienceExperience with performance analysis and performance problem determination skillsIn depth knowledge of systems architecture, internal processes, and interdependenciesExcellent customer-facing skills. (At a technical and layman’s level).Proficiency in supporting z/OS, JES2, CICS or RACF is a plusAcademic Qualifications and Certifications:· Typically requires 10+ years relevant experience.· Undergraduate/bachelor’s degreeRequired Experience:Requires 10+ years’ experience/proficiency with Mainframe DB2 Systems softwareExperience installing DB2 using SMP/EInstallation, customization, testing, and maintenance for DB2Installation, customization, testing, and maintenance for IBM/ISV program productsOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsProject management experience and leadership skillsRequires 10 years of experience in DB2 performance and tuningWorkplace type: Remote WorkingAbout NTT DATANTT DATA is a $30+ billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
