Securities Operations Specialist

Responsibilities Set up and maintain accurate security master reference data Analyze and resolve complex data exceptions to ensure accurate data delivery to trading and compliance systems and internal stakeholders Communicate with firm stakeholders regarding security master reference data inquiries Interface with front office teams to maintain integrity of investment-related data Set up and maintain security characteristics and pricing data in internal systems Participate in firm-wide initiatives and projects, including new product implementations Review investment data needs and ensure system readiness Evaluate existing processes to improve quality and efficiency Offer process enhancements and support management decisions for timely execution Collaborate with Investment Operations, Technology, Research Analysts, Portfolio Managers, and Traders Formulate operational strategy, manage operational risk, and create and document efficient workflows Requirements Four year college degree (B.S. or B.A) with an excellent academic record At least 7 years of prior investment data experience Very strong preference for security reference master experience at an investment manager, service provider such as a custodian, or broker-dealer Experience with Eagle PACE, Eagle RDC, Charles River, FactSet, Bloomberg and Yield Book preferred Demonstrated ability to develop and clearly articulate effective strategies, advocate for them, respond thoughtfully to constructive suggestions and execute as applicable Strong quantitative and analytical skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible, reliable and proactive Experience using emerging technologies, such as AI, to create efficiencies and drive growth Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated ability to follow established work processes and meet strict deadlines Ability to work efficiently, effectively and independently as well as contribute to a team environment All employees are required to be in their assigned office Monday-Thursday each week Core Competencies Expertise in managing security master reference data and investment-related data integrity, with strong analytical and quantitative skills to enhance operational efficiency and support strategic initiatives.
