DOCUMENT CONTROL SUPPORT

CONTRACT POSITION

INDUSTRY: SHIPYARD

LOCATION: NEWPORT NEWS

PAY RATE: $17 per Hour

Must be available to work variable schedule, incl. weekends and overtime as needed.

SUMMARY

Coordinate the verification, approval, and processing of document revisions, tracking document activity in an efficient timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience
Prior experience using document control equipment, incl. scanners, electronic databases, etc.
Demonstrated ability to support record keeping practices
Prior role as Record Custodian preferred
Ability to read and understand work packages
Able to lift up to 35lbs and climb ladders, stairs and work in confined spaces
