What You'll Do
- Perform diagnostic radiographic exams, focusing on mammography, on diverse patient populations
- Operate radiographic equipment to produce quality images adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct image-guided breast procedures and bone densitometry exams
- Explain procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding
- Adjust imaging equipment for optimal views and radiation safety
- Interact with various computer systems for imaging and patient records
- Assist in maintaining a safe, efficient, and patient-centered imaging environment
What You Need
- Valid Kansas Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT Certification in Mammography
- 1+ year of mammography experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and patient positioning
- Excellent patient communication skills and a professional attitude
- Ability to operate digital radiography systems effectively
Preferred:
- Additional certifications or experience in breast imaging procedures
