What You'll Do

• Provide pre-operative nursing care to surgical patients in outpatient settings
• Assess patient condition and obtain medical histories
• Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining processes and addressing concerns
• Ensure all pre-op protocols are followed, including verification and documentation
• Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver safe, quality patient care
• Monitor patient responses and manage immediate post-procedure needs
• Follow hospital policies and state regulations to maintain compliance and safety standards

What You Need

• Active RN license in Kansas or eligible compact license
• BLS certification required
• Previous perioperative or pre-op nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate approach with attention to detail
