Camarero(a) de Habitaciones (Room Attendant)The role of the Room Attendant is to guarantee 100% guest satisfaction by providing a clean, comfortable, and safe room.Responsibilities of the position:Generate guest satisfaction and exceed their expectations by providing the brand's service behavior and genuine hospitality.According to the brand's standards, clean the assigned rooms or suites, which includes making the beds, vacuuming, dusting, organizing the furniture if necessary, and cleaning the bathroom.Maintain cleaning protocols.Empty all trash containers and replace them with clean bags.Restock usable items in rooms or suites, such as soap, towels, amenities, and paper items.Ensure the correct collection and handling of room trays, glasses, and cutlery.Clean and vacuum exterior entrances and hallways.Maintain clean and organized laundry closets and supply areas.Ensure that guest laundry and dry cleaning orders are promptly attended to.Immediately inform the supervisor of any special situation in the room or maintenance needs.Manage guest requests or complaints and escalate to the supervisor when necessary.Ensure that all rooms are properly locked when leaving them.Create a Radisson experience that guarantees total guest satisfaction through genuine hospitality standards.Provide personalized attention, assume personal responsibility, and work as a team when providing service.Listen, apologize with empathy, find a solution, and follow up on resolving guest problems.Provide genuine hospitality under the "Yes I Can!" approach consistently.Take responsibility for identifying when a guest is not satisfied and act accordingly to resolve it.Perform other functions necessary to provide genuine hospitality.Comply with other tasks assigned by management to ensure total guest satisfaction.Requirements / Skills:Minimum one year of experience in hospitality, preferably in housekeeping.Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.Ability to work independently or as a team.Great attention to detail.Commitment to exceptional guest service.Ability to clean multiple types of rooms and meet daily standards.Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Compliance with hotel policies and procedures.Physical demands:Repetitive hand and arm movements.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to push or pull up to 100 pounds.Ability to crouch, bend, kneel, and twist.Ability to stand for long periods.Benefits:Compensation: $20.00 per hourExcellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, long-term disability, pet insurance, and 401(k) planPaid vacation and personal days8 paid holidaysHotel discountsBirthday, anniversary, and quarterly and annual employee recognition incentivesDaily meals providedAnd moreAbility to model Choice's Cultural Values: Welcome and Respect Everyone, Be Bold, Be Quick, Listen, Be Curious and Show Integrity are key to our success in inspiring Loyalty, Growth, and the Hospitality Spirit.Choice Hotels International is an equal opportunity employer and affirmative action employer.
