Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ development as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapist (OT) for the upcoming school year! This full-time contract position offers the chance to make a difference throughout a vibrant district, collaborating with educational teams and working directly with students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Your commitment will be essential as you cover an FMLA maternity leave, with the assignment beginning August 27, 2026, and lasting approximately 12 weeks. Please note the role may extend beyond the initial contract, although the extension cannot be guaranteed at this time.

What You'll Bring:

• Active Connecticut COTA license/certification (CT DPH License/Passed NBCOT Exam), or Connecticut OT license
• School-based experience highly valued
• Reliable transportation to support district-wide service
• Flexibility and commitment to a short-term assignment with possible extension
• Comfort working across diverse age groups and disability populations

Your Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions for students ages Pre-K through 12th grade
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and educational staff in developing and implementing treatment plans
• Document student progress and provide insights to support individualized learning objectives
• COTAs will practice under the supervision of a licensed OT, as required by district and regulatory standards
• Serve multiple campuses, adapting to district needs and schedules (final hours to be confirmed)
